Description

Shield AI is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and secure resilient network infrastructure across data centers, on-premises sites, and public cloud environments. The role covers routing, switching, WLAN, firewall, WAN, VPN, ZTNA, network automation, capacity planning, troubleshooting, change management, documentation, vendor coordination, and on-call maintenance. It requires at least six years of experience supporting complex production networks, expertise in network routing, switching, and security architectures, proficiency with network and security operating systems, and experience with hybrid infrastructure connectivity.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 6+ years of relevant experience with a professional certification such as CCNP, JNCIS, VCP-NV, or equivalent.
Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years supporting and administering complex network systems in production environments.
Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Experience building and managing scalable hybrid infrastructure connectivity solutions linking on-premises systems with cloud networks.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Juniper and Palo Alto network solutions and centralized management platforms, including Panorama.
Familiarity with WLAN technologies and wireless authentication.
Experience with NAC solutions and network access policy enforcement.
Experience with ZTNA or SASE solutions.
Working knowledge of virtualization or operating system administration.
Project management and leadership skills.
