Description
The Senior Network Engineer will implement, document, troubleshoot, and support the agency’s VDOT network infrastructure, including enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers. The role also involves network architecture, SDWAN and hybrid connectivity optimization, cloud networking collaboration, security compliance, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and network diagramming. The position requires at least eight years of hands-on enterprise networking experience, an industry-standard networking certification, and is onsite only.
