Description
Vero Fiber is hiring a remote, full-time Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize its Fiber-to-the-Home broadband network. The role leads complex network design, router and switch configuration, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, security, disaster recovery, automation, and technical mentorship, while collaborating with OSP, field operations, NOC, vendors, and leadership. Candidates need at least five years of experience in a service provider or broadband environment, professional certifications such as CCNP or CCDP, and expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, routing and switching, network operating systems, and monitoring tools. The position requires occasional travel, U.S. work authorization, background-check eligibility, and participation in an after-hours on-call rotation.
