NVIDIA is hiring an Offensive Security Researcher to attack production GPU firmware, microcode, kernel drivers, and embedded software before adversaries do. The role owns the end-to-end security lifecycle for subcomponents, including threat modeling, vulnerability research, exploit development, remediation, and the design and adoption of hardware and compiler-assisted mitigations. Candidates need a relevant engineering or computer science degree, 12+ years of software engineering or security research experience, offensive security experience, strong C and assembly skills, and experience with vulnerability research and secure development practices. The posting offers a base salary of 224,000–356,500 USD for Level 5 and 272,000–431,250 USD for Level 6, plus equity and benefits, and applications were accepted through September 26, 2026.
