Staples is hiring an onsite Senior Software Engineer I - Observability & Splunk Engineering in Framingham, Massachusetts. The role designs, implements, and supports enterprise observability solutions across logging, monitoring, tracing, and application performance monitoring platforms. Responsibilities include Splunk administration, large-scale telemetry collection, data pipelines, integrations with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and enterprise systems, along with Python and Bash automation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of hands-on Splunk experience, with APM, distributed tracing, and multi-platform observability experience preferred.
