The role handles second-level incident, change, release, capacity, and vulnerability management; troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; intrusion detection and prevention; IPS policy optimization; solution releases; configuration management; customer support; escalation, and mentoring. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, at least three years of professional experience including two years of IT or network security experience, strong security and networking knowledge, and certification in a listed security domain.
