Description

Rebellion is hiring a Senior Online Developer to build and support internal and external web APIs, tools, and integrations for its game engine team. The role covers requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, bug resolution, and cross-team communication, with a focus on Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, cloud environments, and serverless functions. It is based at the Oxford or Warwick studios, offers relocation support, and is open only to applicants with permanent UK work eligibility; visa sponsorship is not available.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Strong experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud environments
Strong experience with software development tools and version control systems
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Vue and React front-end frameworks
Ability to modify and maintain applications written in other languages, such as PHP
Experience writing serverless functions with AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
