Amazon is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to oversee all budgetary, people-development, and operations objectives for a fulfillment center. The role manages Operations and Area Managers, leads quality, safety, performance, and customer-experience initiatives, drives Lean and process improvements, and coordinates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other senior operations leaders. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least seven years of direct management experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution, and experience with staffing, performance metrics, and Lean techniques. It involves physically demanding work, including lifting up to 49 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and navigating a large facility, and may require overnight, weekend, and holiday work. The listed base salary is 135,000.00–182,700.00 USD annually in Phoenix, Arizona, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
