Description

The Senior Operations Officer will lead the assessment and response to threats, incidents, and crises within the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Munich, Germany. This role involves coordinating operational security and incident management, developing improved processes, leading responses to threats, collaborating with various teams, and providing operational updates to leadership. The officer will also focus on optimizing processes, strengthening resilience, and safeguarding sensitive information.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of experience in physical security operations, incident and crisis management, with proven leadership of regional or global operational teams;
Proven leadership experience managing security operations centres, control rooms, or equivalent 24/7 operational environments in the public and/or private sector.
Preferred Qualifications: High-level project management skills with demonstrated ability to set and meet priorities under pressure and manage competing operational demands.
Strong knowledge of incident management, travel security, emergency response, executive protection, event security, and crisis management frameworks.
Proficiency in security technologies and platforms and in their integration, including mass notification systems, incident management tools, travel security platforms, and threat monitoring solutions.
Solid understanding of cross-border and hybrid threat environments, including physical, cyber, and reputational dimensions relevant to multinational organizations.
Excellent ability to deliver clear operational briefings to senior leadership, influence decision-making under pressure, and build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across global teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with fluency in at least one additional regional language; German fluency is a plus.
Ability to innovate and identify opportunities to optimise processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen the security posture of the operational team and its internal and external stakeholders.
