Avenga is hiring a Senior Operations Research Engineer for a client focused on AI-driven industrial solutions. The role involves designing mathematical models and optimization algorithms for planning, scheduling, resource allocation, routing, and decision support; building scalable Python-based optimization pipelines; validating models through simulation; and collaborating with software, data, and machine learning teams. The position requires an MSc or PhD in a relevant STEM discipline, strong optimization and Python skills, experience with LLMs and production software, and 1–2 hours of overlap with US Pacific Time.
