Newmedica is hiring a Senior Ophthalmic Technician to deliver NHS ophthalmology services, including detailed clinical tests, patient assessments, ophthalmic imaging, and diagnostic investigations. The role leads the clinic team, supports and trains Ophthalmic Assistants, and may support theatre operations. Candidates need prior healthcare experience, ideally in ophthalmology, strong diagnostic and technical clinical skills, basic equipment maintenance knowledge, people-management experience, computer proficiency, and excellent English. The position pays £146.00 per day depending on experience and includes annual leave, pension, benefits, and learning support.
