Description
Distance Technologies is hiring a Senior Optical Engineer to design optical systems for defence and automotive products, including Field Operator HUDs. The role covers optical architecture, stray-light and artifact simulation, eyebox and eye-relief design, integration with micro-displays and eye-tracking cameras, manufacturing and coating considerations, tolerance and yield analysis, and laboratory test-setup work. The position is based at the Helsinki headquarters and requires onsite work most of the time, with a Master's or PhD in optical engineering, physics, or electrical engineering, senior optics experience, and strong English.
