Description

Lyte is hiring a Senior Optical Engineer for its System Optics Team to own optical components and subsystems from requirements definition through qualification, manufacturing introduction, and sustaining support. The role leads lens and optical component design, optical simulation and tolerancing, supplier and manufacturing coordination, testing and characterization, performance correlation, and future-generation optical development. Candidates need a relevant master's or Ph.D. with 3–5+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, along with hands-on optical design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing experience. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant optical engineering experience
Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on lens or optical system design
Defining optical requirements and specifications
Optical tolerancing, sensitivity analysis, Monte Carlo analysis, and simulation-to-measurement correlation
