Description
PsiQuantum is seeking a Senior Optical Packaging Engineer to develop and implement opto-electronic packaging workflows for photonic integrated circuits at their UK R&D facility in Daresbury Lab. The role involves developing optical package and fiber-to-chip alignment schemes, prototyping, and working with internal teams and external vendors to scale packaging designs. Requires a Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent, and 3-5+ years of experience in PIC packaging design, optical fibers, optical measurements, and FAU/optical connector to chip attachment.
