Description
Arista Networks is hiring a Senior Optical System Engineer to lead the design, validation, qualification, and optimization of advanced optical interconnect systems for AI and datacenter infrastructure. The role covers silicon photonics PICs, optical engines, DSP-based links, CPO/OCI architectures, 1.6T/3.2T interconnects, high-speed characterization, test automation, interoperability testing, and collaboration with photonics, DSP, ASIC, packaging, firmware, manufacturing, and system architecture teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of optical system validation or qualification experience, and expertise with high-speed optical systems, PAM4, characterization, and test automation. The base salary range is $150,000 to $230,000, with medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees.
