Description

Senior Oracle Database Administrator responsible for designing, implementing, securing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle database environments across on-premises Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for corporate and municipal clients. The role includes database architecture, migrations to OCI Gov Cloud, backup and recovery, performance tuning, automation with scripting and IaC, incident troubleshooting, and collaboration with technical and management teams in a 24x7 environment.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BA in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years in Oracle database administration
3+ years in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Exadata, Active Data Guard, performance tuning, RMAN, and OCI GoldenGate replication
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
Strong scripting skills in OCI CLI, Python, shell scripting, and Perl
Comfort working in a 24x7 operations environment
Comfort with a hybrid work arrangement
