Description
Intuitive is hiring a Medical Device Packaging Design Engineer to design, develop, verify, and launch mechanical packaging systems for sterile and non-sterile medical devices, including surgical instruments, disposables, and electromechanical capital equipment. The role leads new product development and sustaining engineering, applies packaging dynamics, FEA, process simulation, testing, material evaluation, and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with clinical, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of medical device packaging design experience, or 6+ years with a master’s degree, along with CAD, thermoforming, and packaging validation expertise.
