Description
Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is hiring a Packaging Engineer to organize, plan, manage, and execute packaging innovation, development, technical application, and cost-reduction projects across retail, in-store bakery, and foodservice businesses. The role leads cross-functional teams, coordinates experiments and plant trials, develops packaging platforms and technical specifications, supports manufacturing and supply-chain engineering, and manages intellectual property and project documentation. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in packaging engineering or a related field, at least five years of packaging or engineering experience, and the ability to travel to the facility 50% of the time or relocate to the Traverse City, Michigan area. Compensation is $115,000–$135,000 plus bonus, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
