Description
Ashland is hiring a Senior Packaging Engineer for its global engineering department. The fully remote role is based in Germany and reports to the Director of Engineering. The position standardizes packaging formats, materials, and equipment; develops global technical specifications; leads packaging and packaging-waste compliance programs; manages capital projects through design, testing, commissioning, and startup; and collaborates with procurement, operations, engineering, regulatory, quality, and EHS teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or packaging engineering, approximately 10 years of progressive experience in industrial or chemical packaging, regulated-environment experience, specialty-chemical packaging knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
