Senior Payroll Specialist at Equitable Bank

The Senior Payroll Specialist is a senior individual contributor and payroll operations lead responsible for end-to-end payroll execution across multiple Canadian legal entities. The role covers payroll processing, compliance and statutory reporting, benefits administration, payroll accounting and reconciliations, audit and control ownership, root-cause analysis, system expertise with Dayforce, and cross-functional issue resolution. It requires 7–10 years of progressive payroll experience in a complex Canadian multi-entity environment, an accredited payroll compliance certification, and strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, accounting, controls, and reporting. The position is hybrid, with in-office work at EQ Bank’s Toronto office.
