Description
Turquoise Health is hiring a fully remote Senior Performance Engineer in the United States to improve the performance, scalability, cost, and user experience of its data platform interacting with large healthcare datasets. The role owns performance investigations across data architecture, query execution, APIs, backend services, and product workflows; develops benchmarks and telemetry; evaluates the impact of dataset and product changes; and recommends technical or product solutions. Candidates need at least five years of experience building and optimizing production data systems, advanced SQL and Python or another general-purpose programming language, and experience with column-oriented databases or data warehouses.
