Mesa Associates, Inc. is hiring a Senior Physical Design Engineer to supervise the design and checking of deliverables for high-voltage substation projects. The role involves preparing one-line diagrams, substation layouts, foundation plans, conduit and raceway plans, grounding plans, bills of materials, and cable schedules; ensuring compliance with IEEE or client standards; and mentoring junior team members. The position uses Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, requires an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience, and is a hybrid arrangement based in Mesa's Knoxville, Tennessee office, with a fully remote arrangement potentially available to qualified candidates in the Southeast United States.
