Description
The Alachua County Department of Environmental Protection is recruiting a Senior Planner to provide complex environmental-planning analysis for land-use, zoning, development-plan, comprehensive-plan, and environmental-code matters. The role includes site inspections, development-application reviews, research, reporting, public presentations, coordination with staff and agencies, and possible assistance with land acquisition and stewardship activities. Applicants need a master's degree in a relevant field and one year of professional planning experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience; trainee status may be considered for applicants within six months of meeting the requirement.
