Cambridge Systematics is hiring a Senior Planner to lead freight and goods movement planning, including statewide and regional studies, multimodal corridor and safety studies, economic and benefit-cost analysis, grant development, policy analysis, asset management, environmental analysis, freight modeling, truck parking studies, resilience studies, and transportation equity analyses. The role manages projects and junior staff, develops proposals and client relationships, and collaborates with technical leaders and project managers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years of industry-related experience, and 3+ years managing projects and leading proposals; a master’s degree, freight or economics experience, grant-writing knowledge, and Southern California experience are preferred. The salary is $155,000–$175,000.
