Bright Machines is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to build scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable systems for its software-defined manufacturing technology stack, from robotic manufacturing lines through cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing and implementing infrastructure, applications, and tooling; writing and reviewing code; documenting work; evaluating technical approaches; and collaborating with engineering teams to improve developer velocity. Candidates need at least five years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, programming proficiency, and expertise with CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and observability tools.
