Linx is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to architect and develop high-scale systems, shared frameworks, and architectural abstractions. This role focuses on designing and building backend services, developer-facing frameworks, shared libraries, SDKs, and core platform capabilities, impacting the performance, reliability, and velocity of all developers. It's a hands-on software engineering role centered around application and platform infrastructure, emphasizing software design and development rather than DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Extensive experience building production-grade backend systems in one or more modern programming languages (such as Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or Kotlin), with hands-on experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in production environments where performance and reliability are non-negotiable. You understand how systems behave under stress and how to design for stability at scale.
Hands-on experience with distributed streaming or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, or similar), with a strong understanding of messaging patterns.
Experience working with a variety of database technologies and building the middleware/wrappers that sit between the data and the application.
Eager to learn, explore new technologies, and choose the right tools and approaches for each problem.
Design for the scale we'll hit in two years, not just the problems we have today.
