Description

Trojan Trading is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the migration from AWS-managed services to EKS, aiming to reduce AWS dependency and enhance platform portability. The role involves designing and maintaining high-availability infrastructure, managing cloud resources, developing automation via IaC, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring observability and reliability. Candidates should possess extensive experience in Kubernetes operations, particularly with stateful workloads, and a proven track record of contributing to high-performance, scalable systems.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Production experience operating at least one stateful or data infrastructure system in Kubernetes.
Deep experience with AWS and production Kubernetes, especially EKS.
Strong background in Terraform or other IaC tools.
Experience managing CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, load balancing, and microservices orchestration.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with crypto trading platforms, DeFi protocols, or on-chain infrastructure.
Familiarity with Solana RPCs, indexing nodes, or validator management.
Knowledge of data streaming or real-time analytics pipelines.
Passion or experience in on-chain trading; being a part-time trader on Solana is a plus.
