Scalar is hiring a Platform Engineer to own the services, infrastructure, and internal tooling supporting Docs, SDKs, the API Client, and Agent Scalar. The role covers TypeScript backend services, Pulumi infrastructure-as-code, GCP services, SDK generation, observability, reliability, and internal developer tooling, with possible frontend contributions. It is fully remote, prefers candidates in the United States or Western Canada, and offers fixed-term contract or full-time permanent positions with compensation of CAD 150,000–250,000 or USD 105,000–180,000 based on experience.
