Microsoft is hiring a Senior Platform PnP Engineer to lead power and performance strategy for next-generation AI compute platforms. The role provides technical leadership, partners with cross-functional hardware, silicon, firmware, operating systems, manufacturing, and customer engineering teams, and drives silicon and platform architecture, workload characterization, power management, frequency and voltage optimization, memory efficiency, accelerator utilization, thermal solutions, and datacenter performance. The position requires a relevant engineering degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5+ years, and offers a U.S. base pay range of USD $119,800 to $234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
