Smartfrog is hiring a full-time Software Engineer for its Platform team to grow, enhance, and add functionality to a large-scale, highly reliable cloud platform. The role focuses on improving stability and scalability, introducing new technologies, and supporting video streaming, analytics, big-data storage, IoT communication pipelines, and related systems. Candidates need a BS/MS in Computer Science, at least four years of backend-focused software engineering experience, distributed-systems expertise, Python or Go proficiency, AWS knowledge, experience with multiple data stores, RESTful API design, and strong testing fundamentals. The position is fully remote for candidates based in Ireland, with Dublin listed as a location, and starts as soon as possible.
