Description
Oracle is hiring a Senior Platform Software Engineer to enhance the Kubernetes experience on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native solutions for application deployment, management, and scaling, including Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, infrastructure automation, and open-source projects. The engineer will collaborate across engineering disciplines to build reliable, scalable, and secure distributed systems and contribute to the broader Kubernetes and CNCF ecosystem. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least three years of professional software development experience, strong programming skills, and experience with APIs, data models, service architectures, and cloud-native systems. Preferred experience includes application deployment platforms, GitOps, distributed systems, site reliability engineering, and security engineering. The US hiring range is $92,500 to $209,500 per annum, with possible bonus and equity.
