Oracle is hiring a Software Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee to build and evolve Oracle APM Agents, OpenTelemetry-based agents and operators, APM Synthetics side agents, REST/API monitors, backend microservices, configuration-management systems, operational tooling, and cloud-native services. The role focuses on secure, scalable telemetry collection, agent lifecycle operations, synthetic-monitoring execution, observability integrations, production troubleshooting, and reliability improvements across customer-facing platforms. Candidates should have strong Java, distributed systems, REST APIs, OpenTelemetry, configuration management, and OCI or other cloud observability experience.
