Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Platform Systems Engineer for its Cloud Hardware Systems Engineering team to define and deliver operational measures of success for cloud hardware manufacturing, planning, quality, delivery, scale, and sustainability. The role collaborates with architecture, silicon, firmware, hardware design, validation, operating systems, manufacturing, and customer teams to build AI, compute, storage, networking, and accelerator hardware solutions; leads platform debugging, system bring-up, testing, validation, risk assessment, and technical requirements across the hardware, firmware, and software stack. Candidates need a relevant master's degree with 3+ years of technical engineering experience or a relevant bachelor's degree with 5+ years, or equivalent experience, along with the ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800-$234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
