Description
The Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) is hiring a fully remote Senior Policy Analyst for its Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) team. The role analyzes federal and state SNAP data, legislation, regulations, and administrative policies; develops recommendations and persuasive research materials; provides technical assistance, training, presentations, and strategic advice to advocacy, government, nonprofit, and community partners; supports coalition work and regrant management; and collaborates with the SNAP Director. Candidates must have an advanced degree in a relevant field, demonstrated SNAP knowledge, strong policy research, analysis, writing, communication, organizational, and project management abilities, and 3–5 years of relevant experience. The salary is $86,000–$89,000 annually, and the position is full-time and fully remote, with priority for applicants in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and nearby Northern Virginia and Maryland suburbs.
