Description
The Senior Portfolio Manager SME leads the administration of insurance accounts and contracts, including contractual data, account bookings, claims handling, cash flow, data governance, audit and compliance checks, payment processing, and oversight of outsourced underwriting and operations. The role manages performance and strategic relationships with an outsourced provider, coordinates with underwriting, claims, brokers, cedents, and internal teams, and supports underwriters in technical accounting and operational activities. It requires several years of reinsurance accounting, underwriting assistance, or controlling experience, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge of technical accounting, settlement processes, or a specific line of business.
