OpenTable is hiring a Senior PostgreSQL Database Engineer in Toronto, Canada, in a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office. The role leads the architecture, reliability, performance, scalability, security, and evolution of PostgreSQL environments; owns complex database initiatives; automates infrastructure operations; partners with Product and Data Engineering teams; drives cloud database strategy; escalates production incidents; and mentors engineers. Candidates need at least seven years of PostgreSQL or equivalent complex database experience, deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, high-availability and disaster-recovery experience, SQL and programming or automation-language proficiency, and hands-on database automation experience. The expected Toronto compensation range is $115,000-$125,000 CAD, with health and dental insurance and other benefits.
