EGI is hiring a Senior Power System Planning Expert / System Planning Lead to lead advanced power system planning studies for major U.S. transmission, HVDC/HVAC, renewable integration, storage, data center, interconnection, and grid infrastructure projects. The role defines and validates models and scenarios, performs steady-state and dynamic studies, assesses reliability and grid constraints, supports interconnection and facility studies, and translates technical findings into project decisions. It requires a master’s degree in electrical or power systems engineering, typically 10+ years of relevant experience, expertise in U.S. ISO/RTO planning and power system simulation tools, and fluency in English. The role is U.S.-based, preferably in California or the New York area, and offers hybrid or remote work with regular travel.
