Description

Xometry is looking for a Senior Principal, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence to lead large, cross-functional ML/AI initiatives. This role involves owning and driving an 18-24 month technical roadmap, influencing partner roadmaps, and acting as a subject matter expert to remove roadblocks and drive revenue growth, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate will focus on areas like 2D/3D part understanding, generative AI, and advanced machine-learning platforms.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years of professional experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science roles
several years in senior or principal capacity leading major programs
Preferred Qualifications: PhD preferred for deep generative/3D modeling emphasis.
Experience in 3D modeling / geometry / computer vision / generative models (e.g., point-cloud processing, mesh processing, text23D, image23D, CAD/CAM integration) is highly desirable.
Strong exposure to generative AI techniques (large language models, multimodal models, diffusion, GANs) and translating them into business use-cases.
