Description
Coherent Corp. is hiring an on-site full-time Silicon Photonics Packaging Engineer to lead the development of co-packaged optics and optical-engineering product packaging from concept through production. The role develops silicon photonic and electronics IC co-design processes, interconnect schematics, monitor layouts, hybrid-integration packaging rules, and optical-package manufacturability and reliability. It requires an MS or PhD in engineering or science, at least five years of relevant experience, semiconductor laser and silicon photonics expertise, and experience with cross-functional team management. The position may require occasional off-site meetings or travel and occasional overtime.
