Description
The Senior Principal Riser Engineer is a specialist responsible for complex riser engineering across FEED, studies, detailed design, analysis, calculations, and design reviews. The role may lead a mechanical engineering discipline, coordinate with project, fabrication, procurement, customer, and third-party stakeholders, manage discipline schedules and budgets, and guide less experienced engineers. It requires 20+ years of oil and gas experience, preferably offshore, a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, and strong knowledge of riser engineering standards and tools.
