JPMorgan Chase is hiring a Senior Principal Software Engineer in its Chief Technology Office to lead the architecture and delivery of a firm-wide platform addressing software dependency risk. The role owns AWS and Java platform architecture, data ingestion pipelines, dependency graph modeling, developer-facing APIs, and firm-wide integrations; advises on technical strategy and product portfolios; mentors senior engineers; and establishes AI-augmented development practices with governance, security, and resiliency controls. The position requires formal software engineering training or certification, 10+ years of applied experience, expertise in Java and Python, cloud-native AWS experience, and experience with AI-first and agentic development practices.
