Progress is hiring a Software Engineer, Senior Principal for its LoadMaster engineering team. This senior individual-contributor role owns critical functional and architectural areas, designs and implements platform components, leads performance, security, scalability, and maintainability improvements, guides complex problem analysis and architectural decisions, mentors senior engineers, and contributes to standards, tooling, and automation. The role requires extensive experience with high-performance Linux systems, expert C systems programming focused on low-latency TCP/IP networking, deep Linux internals knowledge, performance engineering, security, Bash, and cross-team leadership.
