Apple is hiring a Privacy Engineer to provide privacy guidance across its machine learning and generative AI infrastructure. The role reviews features and products for privacy exposures, audits customer data collection, communicates risks to senior leadership, designs privacy-preserving data collection and evaluation systems, and guides the roadmap for technologies such as differential privacy and private federated learning. Candidates need a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, programming experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to assess privacy impacts and solve complex problems independently.
