Personalis is hiring a Senior Process Automation Engineer for its Research, Product Development and Technology Transfer Group to lead automation projects and develop, integrate, test, and qualify laboratory automation systems and software. The role focuses on liquid-handling robotics, NGS laboratory workflows, equipment validation, documentation, troubleshooting, vendor collaboration, and mentoring. Candidates need an engineering or biochemistry degree, at least three to five years of relevant experience, robotics and liquid-handling expertise, Hamilton Venus 4 or 6 programming experience, and GitHub/GitLab deployment experience. The position is onsite in Fremont, California, with a hiring range of $135,000 to $165,000 per year plus bonus and equity opportunities.
