Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior Process Controls Engineer for its Solar Cell Factory to design, build, and optimize controls and automation systems for critical gases and chemicals used in solar cell fabrication. The role covers PLC programming, SCADA development, PID loops, interlocks, field instrumentation, electrical system design, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for gas-farm and wastewater-treatment processes. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a chemical discipline and at least five years of experience in fluids, systems manufacturing, controls, automation, or programming. The position requires long hours and weekends as needed and ITAR eligibility.
