Description
Sedgman is hiring a Senior Process Engineer in Vancouver, British Columbia, to lead and support mineral-processing engineering design for mining projects across the full project lifecycle, from studies and conceptual design through detailed design and operations. The role includes process scaling and optimization, equipment sizing, process calculations, flowsheets, PFDs, heat and material balances, P&IDs, cost estimation, troubleshooting, client support, and mentoring process engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mineral processing, metallurgy, chemical engineering, or a related discipline, 10+ years of relevant mining-industry process engineering design experience, prior engineering or consulting-firm experience, strong mineral-processing and mining technology knowledge, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Professional engineering registration, preferably EGBC, is an asset. The position offers a hybrid schedule and requires eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship.
