Description
Assystem is hiring a Process Engineer to support the design of complex thermal and fluid systems for a small modular reactor (SMR) project. The role covers process flow and piping diagrams, component sizing, turbine-island analysis, systems engineering, integration, supplier liaison, design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and nuclear safety and licensing support. Candidates need nuclear-sector or regulated-industry experience, knowledge of steam turbines and piping systems, FEED-to-EPC delivery experience, procurement and stakeholder skills, UK health and safety and HAZOP familiarity, and understanding of ASME, European, and UK standards. The position requires BPSS and SC security clearances, travel to UK offices and customer sites, and offers a hybrid arrangement with three remote days per week.
