Description
The Optical Network Engineer performs software upgrades, customer circuit grooms, reconfigurations, health checks, verification, rollback planning, monitoring, documentation, and troubleshooting on Ciena, Nokia, and Infinera optical platforms. The role requires at least three years of hands-on experience with these platforms, knowledge of DWDM, OTN, and coherent optics, experience working on live production networks, strong English communication skills, and availability during US night-time maintenance windows.
