Watlow is hiring a Senior Product Development Engineer at its Advanced Technology Center in St. Louis, Missouri, to develop and support thermal products for regulated markets including nuclear, aerospace, and defense. The role covers reviewing customer specifications, designing and developing products, supporting fabrication, improving design and fabrication processes, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and leading projects from proposal through customer delivery. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least five years of experience, or a master’s degree with three years of experience, along with experience in regulated-market products, thermodynamics, electrical and mechanical theory, troubleshooting, CAD, and technical communication. Additional experience with industrial electric heating, ASME or NQA-1 codes, AS9100, and Solidworks is advantageous.
