Description
Treefera is hiring an Environmental Intelligence Engineer to build and maintain the data models, pipelines, and APIs that convert satellite and ground-truth signals into actionable environmental evidence. The role owns end-to-end service delivery, technical trade-offs, production maintenance, documentation, code review, mentoring, and commercial adoption. Candidates should have experience re-architecting production Python services or pipelines, designing data models and APIs, and using AI in their workflow; geospatial, scientific Python, and TypeScript or React familiarity are desirable. The role partners with Product, Customer Solutions, Science/AI, and enterprise customers, with a 30–45 minute recruiter screen, a 45–60 minute technical session, and a possible final cross-functional or executive conversation.
